The CW(N) series, by Accu-Weigh®, has all the great features of our standard Universal Dial Scales (UDS), including a standard air dashpot. Plus, it's really three scales in one: general weighing, portion control and batching! Although not everything needs to be portion controlled, food products of all kinds are simply too costly to be served without close attention to the size of each portion. If the portion is too small, you will eventually loose your customers. If the portion is too large, you will loose profits.

A graduated segment of the rotating dial chart enables the individual weighing of various ingredients for recipe formulation. It is also used for "on the plate" portion control, since it permits quick and easy compensation for the difference in weight of different plates. This is especially useful for carving uniform portions of sliced roast beef, turkey, ham and cheese.

The Accu-Weigh® M series of Universal Dial Scales (UDS) are used in a variety applications. Several large grocery chains have converted to Accu-Weigh® UDS for use in their produce departments. With capacities ranging from 2 lb to 220 lb (900 g to 100 kg), there is a scale to suit almost any application. The air dashpot option is convenient for fast, high volume weighing applications. The dashpot acts as a "shock absorber" to reduce the oscillations of the indicator needle to provide faster weight readings. A snap-on stainless steel platform is standard with our UDS scales, with two bowl options (10" scoop and 5 quart bowl) also available.

The Accu-Weigh® BC-10 bar inventory control scale tells accurately and quickly how many drinks were sold out of any bottle of up to 64 fluid ounces. No calculations are needed! Direct readings are made from the color coded charts. The net contents of open bottles are measured instantly in fluid ounces! Use the red graduations for distilled spirits and green for cordials.

The color coded, rotating chart compensates for the tare weight (bottle or container) and allows direct readings in fluid ounces. The exclusive built-in dashpot acts as a "shock absorber" to provide quick weight readings. Complete instructions are attached to the side of the scale. A sample inventory sheet is supplied which demonstrates an easy and efficient control system.

The Accu-Weigh® SKY series of stainless steel dial scales are made exclusively for environments found in professional kitchens and meat processing plants. SKY series scales are ideal for portion control and recipe formulation. The outer housing is constructed from stainless steel with all other components made from corrosion resistant materials. The strong base platform has two supports and mechanical overload stops. The dial is made from clear shatterproof plastic and features a rotating chart for quick taring of empty containers or to tare after each ingredient of a recipe is weighed. The stainless steel snap-on platform cover is easily removed for cleaning and the 5 1/2" diameter dial is slanted 30 degrees to eliminate the need to stoop or bend down to get accurate weight readings. Black graduations on a white background are clearly marked for the fastest possible weight determination. The lightweight, balanced indicator further enhances speedy and accurate readings.

The Accu-Weigh® tubular instrument scales have countless applications in homes, industry, laboratories, sports, quality control and schools. These scales are small enough to carry in your pocket for on the job use. Lightweight and rustproof, all models come with a chrome plated handle and weighing hook. All scales are calibrated with certified weights and are accurate within +/- 1 graduation. They are available with charts graduated in either ounces, pounds and ounces, kilograms and grams, or Troy pounds and Troy ounces. An easy to use adjustment knob allows quick taring off of empty containers for net weight readings.

The Accu-Weigh® M series of Hanging Dial Scales are used in a variety applications. They can be used for general weighing or to measure tension, pull or torque. All models are equipped with fine tooth racks, machine cut precision pinions and dual springs to provide the greatest possible accuracy. Made of steel with nickel or zinc plating on all of the internal mechanisms for maximum protection against corrosion. No special tools are required to access the weighing mechanism, making service and calibration easy to perform. The chart and fine point indicator are protected by a clear, shatterproof plastic cover. There are no weights to handle or slide. Direct weight readings translate into fast, error free weighing. The special design of the indicator virtually eliminates parallax viewing errors and the distinct black on white graduations ensure quick weight determination. The CKM features a dual revolution dial.

All components of the Accu-Weigh® BDL series of scales are made of the highest quality materials to ensure maximum performance and reliability. It's rugged, durable construction includes: a cast iron base, accurate steel pivots and bearings, welded steel construction, nickel plated levers pivots and bearings, and a precision crafted rack and pinion. It features a 157 square inch weighing surface with an optional stainless steel platform cover (BDL-13 only) for weighing wet, messy items. There are no loose weights to handle and no calculations to be made. Direct readings from the large 11" or 13" dials eliminate errors. For instant readings, the BDL scales come with dual inverted air dashpots that act as "shock absorbers" to dampen oscillations of the indicator. Capacities from 50 to 250 pounds
